Non-Alcoholic Matcha Gin Sour

Non-Alcoholic Matcha Gin Sour

This is a twist on a gin sour with a foamy matcha topping. Beautiful colors and low caffeine from the matcha. Watch us make this delicious mocktail on Instagram by clicking here.

Recipe

For the gin sour:
🌲 2 oz zero proof gin (we’re using this zero proof gin from Drink Monday)
🌲 1 oz lemon juice
🌲 1/2 oz simple syrup (we’re using this Lavender Hibiscus one by Raft Cocktails which gives the pink color)
🌲 1/2 oz half and half (unnecessary, but gave it that creamy pink color when mixed with the syrup. Could definitely use plant based milk)

Dry shake without ice & shake again with ice when ready to pour

For the matcha topping:
🍃 1 tsp matcha powder
🍃 1/2 oz simple syrup or more to taste
🍃 1/2 - 1 oz aquafaba (chickpea water) can also use egg white

Beat together using hand mixer or electric frother. Use a metal bowl straight from the freezer. I made the mistake of mixing mine outside and it was wayyyyy too warm in Florida for that so I had to redo the matcha with a cold bowl. It should thicken up pretty quickly, if it doesn’t, chances are your bowl/ingredients are too warm.

CHEERS!
