Perfect for a sunny day, a delicious margarita mocktail for summer (we'd make it anytime though). You only need a few ingredients most of which you can find at the supermarket, and you may already have some in your kitchen.
- Add ginger, maple syrup, and lime juice to a glass and muddle.
- Then add ice, non-alcoholic tequila, and top off with kombucha.
- Stir and garnish or salt/sugar rim if you wish
This recipe is extremely versatile and can be modified a ton of different ways with different flavored kombuchas to make for an easy mocktail. Some other great options we'd love to try are pineapple kombucha with muddled pineapple, mango kombucha, guava, blood orange, tangerine, watermelon, or strawberry kombucha. You really can't go wrong here. Be sure to use a high quality zero proof tequila or mezcal for this non-alcoholic margarita - we used Drink Monday's Zero Alcohol Mezcal for a bit of a smoky flavor and it was delicious.
